Covid-19 - Questions for Maryland Health Department

Since the Maryland Governor has ordered extreme "emergency" measures restricting the basic freedom of Maryland citizens in March, 2020, it is only fair and logical to question the rationale for this continuing this order now that its original purpose to "flatten the curve" of hospital usage is past. What is the rationale now for continuing these "lock-down" restrictions, and what is the "emergency" now being addressed? When will the "emergency" end?
